It’s been a while!

Wait… don’t tell me you don’t remember me? (Ha! Fair. I’m Al Khan — here’s my about page if you need a refresher.)

A lot has happened since we last talked:

Big shifts. Tiny wins. And a LOT of failures too. (which really toughened us up)

But today actually...I want to share one of the most exciting updates yet.

Actually let me go on a quick tangent first... (lol)

I credit everything I’m about to share with you to the mental models I’ve been talking about for years!

This year alone:

• We spent Q1 and Q2 in Hokkaido and Taiwan.
• Transitioned into a new business partnership model.
• Moved into a new house.

All because I doubled down on systems — ones that just work, every single time.

(Side note: Living with a few close friends means the bills are way cheaper too. Win-win.)

Anyway…

Here’s the BIG update:

🎯 We’re building a study workflow app.

It’s called UnStudy. (...but we're open for suggestions for a name haha)

Think: Study workflow meets Anki, but now with AI assistants running in the background ;)

And it’s built on the same principles from my flagship course, Simple Study System.

My BIG vision for this is to level the playing field for serious learners.

To give people — no matter their background — a real shot at success.

Why? Because I know how it feels to not come from money.

I didn’t attend a prestigious school. I had 3 failed subjects in College.

Yet I clawed my way into the country’s top 1% by learning methods that actually worked.

I then got a paid scholarship from the top engineering school in the Philippines.

Now imagine:

✅ If you’re from a third-world country, carrying your family’s hopes… and you make it into one of the world’s top schools.
✅ You become world-class in your profession and charge globally competitive rates.
✅ You rewrite the narrative everyone thought you were born into.

Even today, we’re still defying the odds:

Most Filipinos believe it’s “normal” to stay poor because the country’s poor.

But we built a $1M ecommerce business in just 2 years. From scratch. No family money.
